This is now the second election in a row where the major parties either ignore Montreal or actively campaign against a caricature of Quebec’s metropolis as a woke Islamist immigrant-riddled anti-québecois hellhole. Je suis content que tu l’aies fait remarquer. It bodes really poorly for social cohesion in the long term that there isn’t stronger civil society pushback against how incredibly self-destructive this will be for our continued integration as a common political culture.
